Urgent Needs - Haiti Relief
Other possible connections (also check out our Links page):
Quisqueya Christian School: http://quisqueya.org is their web address, and you can donate directly to them from PayPal. This is a local school, which some of our MAF kids attended. It is now being used as a base of operations by several organizations, as well as the military. You can find the most recent updates on their website.
United Christians International: www.unitedchristiansinternational.org – This is the organization of our friends, Jean Jean & Krissie Mompremier. They and others from Pignon have been running shuttles into PaP to bring out quake victims. Currently, they are personally caring for about 25 displaced people, and continue to bring hope to very hurting people. They are housing, feeding, and giving medical treatment to all they can, and beyond. The community of Pignon has taken in 100s of refugees, and through UCI, needs are being met. People are finding physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual healing. Any help you can give would be greatly appreciated!

Note on the Gift "Quake Aid"
Hosean Internation Ministries: www.hosean.org – Our friends Caleb & Debbie Lucien, also from Pignon, have been doing shuttles and bringing in relief supplies. (donations online).
Lemuel Ministries: www.lemuelministries.org - Our friends in Anse Rouge are also ministering to people displaced by the quake. They’ve also been very busy bringing in relief supplies to Port.
Mission Aviation Fellowship – our organization (www.maf.org). We have been blessed to be ministering in Haiti for over 20 years, and God has strategically placed us there for such a time as this. God is using our men at the airport to help manage the relief efforts, directing in much-needed supplies (food / water), medical equipment, and personnel. As we continue to minister to those around us, we ask that you prayerfully consider joining our ministry team, as we seek to bring the hope of Christ to the hurting people around us . You can donate specifically to MAF’S relief efforts, or click here to join our ministry team.
Missionary Flights International (www.misionaryflights.org) : Based in Florida, MFI has been also been serving through aviation in Haiti for years. This particular crisis has truly given MFI a tremendous opportunity, as our link to supplies in the US. They have been busy taking care of the missions community within Haiti (they were the ones who brought out our MAF families), as well as hauling in precious resources. Working hand in hand with MFI, MAF has truly been able to make a difference.
Most urgent need: Quisqueya Chapel: our local church in PaP. Michael is chairman of the deacon board, we’re youth leaders, and I’m worship coordinator / praise team leader here. Currently, the Chapel is housing over 100 orphans from the community (2 orphanages, including one that was attacked three nights ago), providing a feeding program, serving as base of operations for a search and rescue team (we have helicopters landing in our soccer field), as well as other mission & aid organizations. The church is also holding worship services, and is offering professional Post Traumatic Stress counseling from the grounds. We are also paying three armed guards at all times, to keep the church from being looted and protect the kids. All of this is being done with our church funds - a small interdenominational, international community church. We would greatly appreciate people partnering financially with our church to help meet the overwhelming needs of those who enter its gates. This can be done by sending a check to “The Magi” (they handle our finances in the US), along with a note explaining that it is to go to Quisqueya Chapel, for Haiti Relief. The address is PO Box 43, Byron Center, MI 49315. (links on facebook too)
